Our 3s teacher Leanna Luznar has been with the Bay Co-Op since 2007. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3) from Ashland University in 2003. In addition, she completed her Reading Endorsement to teach reading to grades K-12. She has worked with children age 3-9 for many years, including her time spent as an Eagle’s Nest attendant from 1998 through 2009. Her experience and approach promotes communication skills while developing an academic foundation. She successfully implements a play-based practice and uses children’s literature to teach the curriculum and standards set forth by the State of Ohio. Her songs and laughter create a positive, happy and energetic classroom environment! She grew up in Avon Lake, where she now resides with her husband and their three daughters. All 3 of her daughters attended the Co-op making her knowledgeable as a teacher and parent!
Our 4s and enrichment teacher joined our Co-op team the fall of 2014. Mrs. Albright graduated from Ohio State University in 2000 with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Her experience with elementary age students gives her insight to the skills needed to be successful in Kindergarten. Her teaching practice promotes learning at a higher level with developmentally appropriate activities. Children’s literature plays a major role in her instruction to meet the content standards set forth by the State of Ohio. With a smile, kindness and humor; she sets expectations for positive social interactions and progress toward academic goals.
She lives with her husband and two sons in Bay Village. Her youngest son is attending the Co-op, making her knowledgeable as a parent and teacher!
