Classes meet three mornings or three afternoons a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
9:30 to 11:45 a.m. or
1:00 to 3:15 p.m.Each 3-year-old class is limited to 12 children and each 4-year-old class is limited to 14 children.
Our daily schedule is balanced between active and quiet times; large group, small group and alone activities; classroom and extended classroom areas; children selected materials and teacher directed activities. A daily schedule must include routines and transition times.

Free Play – a time for child initiated projects and choice of activities. There are often tasks for the child to complete during the week. The child can explore, express ideas and assume command.

Pick-up Time

Circle Time – may include active music, story, weather, calendar, readiness skills, fingerplays, poems, themes, discussions and sharing time. A time for learning listening skills, following directions, controlling wiggles and being a good neighbor.

Snack Time – provided by helping parent and child.
11:10-11:20/2:40-2:50
Active Movement/Small Group – half the children meet with an adult working on a craft, skill or game often relevant to the theme or a particular readiness skill.

Helpful Hint:
We suggest that children wear comfortable play clothes and shoes with non-skid soles. The children are proud to manage toileting themselves and can do so if their clothing is simple. A bag is a great help for carrying home important papers and artwork!
